Known as the "one and a half hand" sword, this weapon was especially popular with 16th century German and Swiss soldiers, who perfected its use on the battlefield. Its 5160 carbon steel blade, forged to withstand the rigors of combat, offers excellent burr resistance and great durability, with a Rockwell hardness of approximately 50 HRC .
