This shield is made of plywood of approx. 13 mm thickness and painted with four Nordic dragons or predatory animals. It may also be a representation of the Midgard Serpent.

The round shield has a steel boss, four decorative cast brass fittings on the front and a solid wood handle on the back. The edge of the shield is covered in leather.
