DETAILS
This bestselling Elven shield from Epic Armory is a small, leather-covered shield worn around the user's arm, inspired by a naturalistic Elven society. The shield is elongated with rounded corners, covered with overlaid vegetable-tanned leather. With a sturdy leather cradle to securely hold your arm against the underside, feel confident that this tough leather and EVA foam shield will withstand the constant abuse of a LARP with regular leather maintenance.
The shield pairs well with Epic Armoury's range of Elven products, especially the Elven Sword - 105cm . However, its naturalistic design can be used by a wide range of characters. Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.

Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
