DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Wing Shield is a shield designed as part of the Dark Elf Universe. Hand-painted and sculpted to resemble a dark blue reptilian wing carved with golden runes, this 85cm long shield is highly detailed and perfect for an evil or dark-inspired character.

Use this left-handed wing shield with two leather arm straps on the back, secured with hard EVA foam for a reliable, solid grip built to last. Feel confident that this latex shield will withstand the constant abuse of LARP with regular latex maintenance.

INSPIRATION

• The dark elves were first mentioned in Norse mythology as the Dökkálfar or Svartálfar written in the Prose Edda in the 13th century.
• JRR Tolkien mentions the dark elves, the "Moriquendi" in The Silmarillion
• They are also known as "Drow" in the Dungeons & Dragons Universe , popularized by RA The Dark Elf Trilogy
