It's a refined version of a battlefield staple, hand-forged from 16-gauge steel and polished to a mirror-like finish. It serves as both a defensive strongpoint and a visual statement, ideal for historical warriors, from Vikings and Anglo-Saxons to Crusader knights.

The boss presents a soft

vaulted

to deflect blows and protect the hand holding the shield's central handle. Its conical shape and polished surface would have been suitable for both functional shields on the battlefield and for display shields in tournaments or parades.
