Inspired by the semi-curved, kite-shaped shields used by the Normans of the Early Middle Ages, the Maurauder Kite Shield works just as well for a goblin invader or a brutal orc from a high fantasy realm as it would for a battle-worn 9th-century European knight or a plundering Viking.
Crafted from durable closed-cell foam and coated with latex, this shield is more than ready for LARP battles. Hand-sculpted and painted with realistic details like scratches and nicks, this shield features a dark matte metallic finish and studded metal trim. A stylized cross appears in the center. Maintain your grip on this savage shield with the three-position grip and adjustable buckle straps located on the inside.

All latex-coated weapons require a certain level of maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your latex guns horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent them from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other products. Keep your guns in a cool, dry environment.
