Your knightly code is one of valor, truth, and courage. You are tasked with defending the innocent and the weak, and today your oath is being tested. Outside the city, there has been a bandit attack on a merchant and his family, and it is up to you to rescue them.

Your squire fastens your checkered shield firmly to your arm above the weight of your mail, and with a prayer to your god, you and your small unit take to the road. The sword atop your shield is a reminder that you are a weapon of justice.

Criminals are warned.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Checkered Shield is a semi-curved kite shield inspired by the Normans of the 10th to 12th centuries. Finished with a beautifully detailed laser-cut heraldic pattern, this shield will fit perfectly in the hands of a foot soldier or knight. The rest of the shield is hand-crafted and painted, designed to resemble a lacquered shield with a metal rim.

Use this checkered shield right- or left-handed with the use of its versatile three leather arm straps on the back, secured by hard EVA foam for a reliable, solid grip built to last. Feel confident that this latex shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.

Available in white/gold, green and red.

HISTORY
