Since 1980, when he first read Dan Inosanto’s Filipino Martial Arts , Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson has been familiar with Filipino Martial Arts and has trained diligently in the sport. His extensive sparring experience, combined with active research and intensive training, have contributed significantly to making Cold Steel the company it is today.

In length, weight and cross section, the Cold Steel escrima stick is similar to a traditional rattan stick. However, it is injection-molded from extremely durable black polypropylene and therefore much more long-lasting. Unlike rattan, this material is resistant to mold and will not dry out, warp, crack, splinter or shrink. In addition, this eskrima stick is easy to clean, weather-resistant and so resistant to impacts and shocks that it can be considered almost indestructible.

Stick fighting enthusiasts and martial artists in the FMA community will certainly add one or more to their training. The team wants to complement this with these sticks.
