Cold Steels® Hideaway® was designed as a small, economical, and extremely practical neck knife . The result is a true featherweight weighing just 43g!

Its satin-finished double-edged blade, made of AUS-8A Japanese stainless steel, has a Scandi cut. Therefore, it's both very sharp and very rigid, with a tip that remains very stable and durable despite its sharpness.

The full-length blade is enclosed in a weather-resistant Kray-Ex® handle, which is extremely narrow and flat. The handle is finely contoured and deeply structured to ensure a secure grip on such a small, slender knife and to allow easy switching between different handle options.

Thanks to the included secure-ex® sheath with ball chain, you can carry this neck knife discreetly and comfortably all day long.

Aus 8a stainless steel

Cold Steel® has used the same expertly hardened AUS 8A Japanese steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been thoroughly tested and proven over the years to be ideal for making work knife blades: it's hard and corrosion-resistant, with good edge retention, and is also easy to sharpen.
