Mirkwood is located in the north of middle-earth, east of the river anduin. It was once known as the great greenwood , but after the end of the war of the last alliance, in which sauron lost the one ring, his spirit took up residence in the fortress of dol guldur, located in the southern part of the forest. From then on, the forest was no longer safe and was simply called mirkwood. In the northern part of the forest lies the realm of the silvan, commonly known as the wood elves, to which thranduil and his son legolas belong.



The Mirkwood Foot are soldiers of the Forest Guard who are sworn to watch over the great Mirkwood, the realm of Thranduil. These mortal warriors are skilled in the use of a variety of weapons, including the bow and sword.



The Black Forest Infantry Sword is an elegant and deadly sword with an Elven design. It consists of a two-handed handle and an Elven blade forged from Silvan steel, which has been artfully decorated with flowing Elven motifs.



This replica from United Cutlery is a beautiful collector's item. The sword has a composite handle with bronze-look cast metal elements and a stainless steel blade with cast metal trim.



The scope of delivery includes a wooden wall display (including mounting materials and assembly instructions) with a graphic forest elf motif as well as a certificate of authenticity.
