The author:

Norwegian Håvard Bergland is an internationally renowned blacksmith and author who worked as a specialist teacher for 30 years. He is a talented craftsman, educator and draughtsman. He invested three years of intensive work into this book. He collected material from various European countries and the United States. He then converted what he saw on his numerous visits to other forges into unique sketches and drawings.
