Improve tool performance with DMT’s easy-to-use Dia-Paste Diamond Compound. The light application creates a highly polished, mirror-like surface, reducing tool friction for a sharper, stronger edge and allowing for more uses between sharpenings. Packaged in convenient 2-gram syringes, this kit of 3 contains several specialty pastes for various cutting treatments. The first is a copper-colored paste (6 microns/4000 mesh) for removing scratches with light pressure polishing, followed by a yellow-colored paste (3 microns/8000 mesh) for a bright beveled edge. Finally, there’s the gray-coded blend (1 micron/15000 mesh) for the ultimate polished mirror facet. For best results, apply the oil-based paste to a flat surface and, using precise angle control, sharpen the tool against the surface with the paste applied.
