The innovative, multi-patented DuoSharp Bench Stone is a precision flat sharpening stone with two diamond surfaces; Chen, which ensures a consistent sharpening every time. Now offered with a Hardcoat® finish for added durability when used with hard steels and ceramic blades. This 8” DuoSharp Bench Stone is designed to withstand the rigors of ceramic knife sharpening. It is an excellent bench sharpener and features a larger, wider 203mm x 67mm diamond surface for sharpening a variety of blades. This model also comes with a bench stone attachment and is equipped with two different grits. On one side is the extra-fine hardcoat diamond (9 microns/1200 mesh) for polishing and refining a sharp edge after sharpening with a larger diamond. On the opposite side is the fine hardcoat diamond (25 microns/600 mesh) for the first cut of the sharp edge. Thanks to the micronized monocrystalline diamond surface on each face, you'll be able to sharpen your blade much faster and easier than with traditional stones. There's no messy oils needed either, so you can sharpen dry or with water. Durable construction ensures years of consistent performance and reliable service.
