You look at your troops and look into the faces of the soldiers who may never return. Their blood is already on your hands, and it's a responsibility you assume with a heavy but resigned heart.

“We must fight,” you shout for all to hear. You cut a powerful figure with your armor and your Defender’s sword, a symbol to instill confidence in these soldiers. “For our homes and our families, we will fight until we can fight no more!” With a resounding cheer, your troops prepare for the charge.

DETAILS

This Ready For Battle Defender is a rich-looking, medium-sized fantasy sword. It is 75 cm long from pommel to tip, with a short ricasso near the crossguard intended to protect the fingers from being cut during certain historical sword maneuvers. The blade is superbly balanced with a 15th-century Italian-inspired pommel and an ergonomic handle beneath a butterfly-shaped crossguard. The handle is hand-sculpted and painted to look like leather, but requires no maintenance.

Ready For Battle weapons are moderately styled, cost-effective weapons that are perfect for new and younger players. This RFB Defender is one of our hybrid models, featuring a polyurethane foam-cast handle that allows for greater detail and is maintenance-free. The blade is made of closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a durable latex coating.
