What Dunkelschön does here truly has its charm. The rock guitars are accompanied by wonderful melodies from the cello, flute, or hurdy-gurdy, which are very pleasant to listen to. Vanessa Istvans's female voice is strong and voluminous, and Michael Kaiser's male voice is warm and almost soothing. The first pieces, "Zauberwort" and "Golden," surprise with hard rock riffs and folk-style violin sounds that convey a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The lyrics are inspired by the works of poet Joseph von Eichendorff, which are appropriately based on music, often with a mystical sound. "Wings Beat" is also a beautiful piece with a strong rhythm that makes you dance. The Breton instrumental "Tri Martolod" pierces the folk grace with powerful guitar riffs and surprising power.
