Enjoy Moley Templar Dagger With Sheath
Molay dagger, Templar dagger with sheath
This beautiful reconstruction of a 13th century Knights Templar dagger is named after Jacques de Molay (1240/1250 - 1314), the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar ( Poor Knighthood of Christ and Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem).
The Molay dagger has a blade made of hardened and heat-treated EN45 spring steel with fuller, unsharpened edges and a sharp point. The continuous blade tang is screwed to the end of the handle. The wooden handle, wrapped in black leather, ends in a strong and stable steel disc pommel, decorated on both sides with a Templar cross. The artfully turned steel crossguard is 12 cm long and 0.5 cm thick. It is sharply flared towards the end on both sides and decorated with cut-out crosses.
The Early Medieval crusader dagger comes with a black wood/leather scabbard with a muzzle band, a mounting plate, and movable steel support rings. The cross motif with trefoil or clover-shaped ends, which adorns the openwork guard and pommel, can be found on the front of the scabbard's mouthpiece.
This medieval dagger is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
