The Tai Pan® is as indescribably swift and deadly as the snake it's named after. Designed by Lynn C. Thompson with the distinctive tanto style, this knife offers all the advantages of a classic dagger, with as few drawbacks as possible.

As is well known, most daggers have a thin, sensitive blade tip that is relatively susceptible to breakage. On the other hand, the Tai Pan® is equipped with a spear-point blade with a stable tip. This broad, thick tip is much more resistant to breakage, but it doesn't lose any of its high penetrating power.

San Mai® is an expertly crafted three-layer stainless steel. A hard carbon steel is sandwiched between flexible, low-carbon spring steel. This ensures maximum edge retention with great resistance to lateral and impact loads. San Mai® is a globally registered trademark of Cold Steel®. Produced in extremely small quantities, this steel is used exclusively for Cold Steel®'s most exclusive stationary collector sheets. Used.
