The Tai Pan® is as indescribably fast and deadly as the snake it is named after. Designed by Lynn C. Thompson in the distinctive tanto style, this knife offers all the advantages of a classic dagger, with as few disadvantages as possible.



As is well known, most daggers have a thin, sensitive blade tip that is relatively susceptible to breaking. On the other hand, the Tai Pan® is equipped with a spear-point blade with a stable tip. This wide, thick tip is much more resistant to breaking, but does not lose any of its high penetrating power.



San mai® is an expertly manufactured, three-layer stainless steel. A hard carbon steel is sandwiched between flexible, low carbon spring steel. This ensures maximum edge retention with great resistance to lateral and impact loads. San mai® is a global registered trademark of Cold Steel®. Produced in extremely small quantities, this steel is used exclusively for Cold Steel®'s most exclusive fixed collector plates. Used.
