Enjoy Roman Dagger, Silver Color, Marto
Roman dagger, silver, hammer
The Romans are known to have borrowed ideas about weapons from their enemies. They initially used Etruscan and Greek weapons or, when faced with the Celts, adopted their equipment. To defeat the Carthaginians, they built a fleet based on the Carthaginian model. Once a weapon was adopted, it became standard. Weapons changed throughout Roman history, although their equipment and use were never individual. Almost all Roman swords and daggers were double-edged and could be used for both slashing and stabbing. The pugio was a small dagger that may have been used as an auxiliary weapon by ancient Roman soldiers. Like other legionary equipment, the dagger had undergone a number of changes over the first century. It generally had a long blade and was leaf-shaped, between 18 and 28 centimeters long and 5 centimeters or more wide.
