Medieval Light Combat Dagger SK-C – The Wandering Archer's Dagger
Forged for defense and prowess in medieval battle
In the turbulent Middle Ages, when steel determined men's fates, daggers were faithful companions in close combat. This medieval dagger with a disc pommel and scabbard , inspired by models used by archers and dismounted soldiers, revives the practical and lethal spirit of the warriors of the time.
Lightweight yet sturdy, this dagger was conceived as a sidearm , ideal for close-quarters combat or as a last resort behind the bow. The functional replica presented here is forged from EN45 spring steel , with a 48 HRC oil-tempered blade , a deep groove, and a rounded tip for safety in exhibition combat. The handle is wrapped in leather and braided wire , while the continuous-cut blade is bolted to a cast-iron pommel for maximum strength.
