Italian dagger with sheath, companion dagger for the cold steel® Italian longsword



For the italian longsword (item no. cst-88its) cold steel® developed this matching companion dagger. since the sword is well balanced and light enough to be wielded with one hand, this dagger can be used as a secondary weapon instead of a shield, tartsche or buckler: reduced in size but almost identical in appearance, its highly conical and double-edged shape. the sharp blade is more for attacks with the tip than with striking edges and is also strong enough to deflect any sword blows.



The simply designed crossguard consists of a slightly downward curved crossguard, a leather covered wooden handle, and a balanced fishtail pommel.



This Italian dagger comes with a leather covered wooden sheath with steel fittings.
