Whether your LARP character is a loyal soldier or a traitorous, treacherous priest, it's written in stone and hieroglyphics that the Epic Armory Desert Dagger is the perfect knife for you. Though it bears a remarkable resemblance to the ceremonial knife found in the tomb of the great Pharaoh Tutankhamun, this dagger isn't made of any extraterrestrial material. In fact, it's constructed of durable, closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating that will withstand combat and LARP abuse. The 28cm knife has a double-edged blade with a center cutting edge, no crossguard, and a flattened pommel. The handle is leather-wrapped and adorned with a single, thin line of gold. When you're building your LARP kit, this dagger will make you look like you belong in the desert.

HISTORY

• The ancient Egyptians used daggers for self-protection, hand-to-hand combat, and warfare, but they were also pieces of ornamentation or ceremonial objects.
• In ancient Egypt, daggers were usually made of copper or bronze, while royalty had weapons made of gold.
