Give away a short kidney dagger with a leather sheath.
Short kidney dagger with leather sheath
The term kidney dagger refers to a dagger with a straight, double-edged blade that tapers from the hilt to the tip. The wooden handle has a cross-guard with two spherical or egg-shaped protrusions on the sides. Due to their similar shape, this dagger variant was given the name kidney dagger or testicle dagger (colloquially known as balls ). Thus, the original name in England was ballock dagger or bollock dagger .
This ulfberth replica comes very close to this late medieval melee weapon. The handle is carved from a single piece of wood and the scabbard is made of solid cowhide. The carbon steel blade is unsharpened.
