Warrior drinking horn 0.5 L

Description

Ah, the sweet taste of mead! You and your fellow warriors have returned to the mead hall, your Warrior Drinking Horns filled to the golden brim. With great cheers and a resounding "Hooray!" you reach deep.

There's nothing better than sitting with your comrades after surviving yet another battle. Tomorrow may change, but for today, you're the hard-won victor.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Light Warrior Drinking Horn is a drinking vessel designed to hold half a liter of your finest mead. This authentic horn comes from the Indian water buffalo and was specifically chosen for its lighter color. The exterior is polished to perfection, and the rim of the horn is covered with a smooth metal band. The interior of the horn is treated for food safety and longevity with a wax coating.

Enjoy cool, room-temperature liquids in your drinking horn while maintaining its character by hiding unsightly plastic bottles. Our drinking horns are a great addition to parties and campfires! Use it like any other mug (remember to drink with the horn tip turned left or right... you'll thank us for it) and prevent spillage by resting it on a leather frog on your belt or in a horn stand. With proper care, you can expect your Warrior Drinking Horn to last for many years.

HISTORY

  • The ancient Greeks and Romans were known to have used drinking horns.
  • The ancient Greek term for a drinking horn was simply keras , meaning "horn."
  • Drinking horns were used for ritual and ceremonial purposes throughout the Middle Ages.
  • Most Viking Age drinking horns were probably made from domestic cattle, while some may have been larger and made from an aurochs.

Quality

Its horn is made from genuine Indian water buffalo horn, a product made with authentic kerotin. It was handcrafted, and therefore each horn is unique thanks to the artist and variations in each individual horn. This horn was created specifically for food use, but we recommend proper care to keep it in good condition for continued use.

This product is handmade and painted by hand and is therefore unique. As a result, when compared to similar items, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or flaws.
We produce our image material in a natural setting, where lighting and surroundings can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

Measurements are all in cm unless otherwise stated.

Maintenance

To get the best care for your original horn product, avoid washing it in the dishwasher or with solvents, detergents, and/or harsh chemicals. Use mild soap and warm water and towel dry immediately after washing. Do not place the horn in the microwave or use it with hot liquids, as this can melt the inner lining, and extreme temperature changes can cause the horn to crack. Avoid rubbing the horn against sharp objects, as this may scratch its surface. Keep your horn away from extreme heat or cold.
