"And there I was, chasing after Angrboða's slimy offspring. Hymir rowed the boat while I rigged the bull's head as bait on my fishing line to catch Jörmungandr. I think in your opinion, anyway, the scaly scoundrel took the bait and I was about to kill him with one blow of Mjolnir, but Hymir was too cowardly to stop myself from cutting the line. Bah! At least I have this horn as a glorious reminder of a great deed! It's essentially a carved water buffalo horn that's been polished and adorned with an ornate depiction of the Midgard Serpent, familiar from many tales of Norse mythology. Each horn is unique in shape and color and holds roughly half a liter of mead, ale, or whatever substance would be served at a great banquet. You can buy the Horn of Jörnmungandr as shown, but it's also available with a wrought iron stand for convenience and exhibition.
