Maintenance
When not in use, keep your bow unstrung to extend its lifespan. Never unstring a bow without an arrow, as the shock of the shot will be absorbed by the bow and could cause damage.
Cleaning
Strings may appear frayed or worn over time. Replace the string when this happens. Stringing is cheaper than replacing a broken bow with a broken string!
If you want to extend the lifespan of your rope, you can add a little wax. The wax will protect the thread from moisture while keeping the strands together.
