Indulge in a Bishop's Collar with Leather Straps and Buckles.
Bishop's collar made of riveted round rings
The term bishop's collar refers to a collar made of chainmail that covers the neck, shoulders, and upper chest and back. It was particularly popular among 15th and 16th century mercenaries and is woven in a similar way to a chainmail hood. The name bishop's collar comes from its shape: the bishop's collar was cut very wide, so it closely resembled this chain mail armor.
The chain collars from ulfberth® are based on historical models. They are serrated along the edge. The neck area is riveted to a leather strip and can be adjusted using authentic brass straps and buckles from the late Middle Ages.
rrr chainmail: This chainmail consists of completely round rings with round rivet heads and has been galvanized. Each ring is riveted by hand. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid rrr (English = round r r ing r ring).
