This new Titan Solstice™ model, with its unique anodized finish, takes this already incredible folding knife to the next level.

In an "entropic" anodizing process, a randomly patterned oxide layer is created on the surface of the titanium handle using heat and ferric acid. The resulting surface is sometimes referred to as "entropic anodizing," a reference to entropy, the state of randomness and disorder of matter.

The haze or lightning patterns created by this process vary from knife to knife depending on the nature of the process, and the color tones also range from blue to dark violet. The oxide layer created during anodizing is also extremely durable and does not wear off. If the handles have become dull after prolonged use, a quick wipe is enough to return the surface to its original shine.
