The term Damascus steel , Damascus steel or simply Damascus refers to a composite steel made from two or more different types of steel.
The name derives from the Syrian city of Damascus, which is considered an ancient stronghold and the origin of Damascus steel production. As a rule, a hard, carbon-rich and
Low carbon mild steel joined by repeated welding and forging. High carbon steel provides higher hardness, better hardenability and
Longer edge retention, while the softer steel gives the blade greater elasticity and greater resistance to breakage. With this technology, in a worse and changing era
Steel grades were created, so that you can combine the positive properties of different steels. due to different colors with different carbon content
Impressive patterns are also created from alternating layers, such as in a twisted form, such as the so-called twist damask or in rose damask . especially for this reason
Damascus swords of the Middle Ages were said to have an inherent magic.
