The Blue River Series of knives was inspired by the Blue River, a tributary of the Colorado River used by Native Americans – the Arapaho tribe inhabited it. This collection of knives pays homage to the warrior culture and outstanding hunting skills of this tribe. The distinctive design features a handle set with a reconstituted turquoise patterned stone, reminiscent of the turquoise jewelry important to Native American heritage. The natural, rustic blade represents the spirit of war, survival and hunting, deeply rooted in the traditions of these tribes’ ancestors.

The handle scales made of micarta are attached to the blade by tang with 2 pins. Particularly beautiful are the handle inlays made of reconstituted turquoise (pieces of turquoise sealed with synthetic resin), which are reminiscent of the Blue River (a tributary of the Colorado) and give the knife its name. The tang protrudes about 5 mm from the handle and has a hole to accommodate the included leather cord with a large wooden bead.

Included is a beautiful handmade sheath made of sturdy leather with a belt loop (maximum belt width approx. 6.5 cm), a decorative buffalo hunting scene and a colorful fabric strap with an Indian pattern.
