The kitchen knives in the Cold Steel® Kitchen Classics collection can handle almost any type of cutting job in very little time.

The knives in this series feature powerful blades made from German 4116 stainless steel, which have been ice-hardened for maximum cutting power, treated at low temperatures, and then precision-ground. All models in this collection have a razor-sharp, extremely durable edge, and some blades have a serrated edge specifically tailored to the knives' intended tasks.

Starting in 2016, Kitchen Classics handles will feature a new design and guarantee an even more secure and comfortable grip. They consist of a strong and durable Zy-Ex™ core, covered by a softer, food-safe Kray-Ex™ outer layer that must be felt to understand the true meaning of slip resistance. The optimized, newly designed knives in the Kitchen Classics series are even more comfortable, practical, and feel even more secure in the hand. They're simply better than ever!


4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
