Each model in the series is made from 4116 steel, ground to a razor-sharp finish, and can be easily resharpened on the job or in the field. All handles are constructed with a rigid, durable Zy-Ex™ core and a softer, food-grade Kray-Ex™ outer layer that provides a comfortable, non-slip grip even after hours of use.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
