With the pandur developed by tony lennartz a synthesis of traditional european and oriental forms with the technical results of our own experiences was achieved. The motto vivat pandur is often found on noble swords of the 18th century. pandours was the name of the freikorps soldiers of the prussian nobleman franz freiherr von der trenck. in 1741 he fought with his pandours for the austrian empress maria theresa.



The combination of proven properties and the charm of a historical era makes the Pandur knife special. The stylistic basis of the handle was adopted from European sabre handles of the 18th century.
