Stonewashed Satre Fixed Blade Knife, Extrema Ratio

Satre is a lightweight and extremely durable fixed blade pocket knife. Due to its features, it can be used in a wide range of activities and areas, including survival and bushcraft, or it can be part of an edc (every day carry) kit.

It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, an advanced master fisss instructor (Italian Federation of Sport and Experimental Survival), developed.

Thanks to its 550 paracord lanyard, it can also be used as a neck knife. This way it is possible to hold it vertically with the handle pointing downwards. The pre-shaped kydex sheath is equipped with eyelets to which both the lanyard and the accessory holder can be attached.

The Satre is available in three versions with two different types of steel: the black and stone washed versions are made of heat-treated Böhler N690 steel with a 58 HRC rating. This material was chosen for its resistance to rust, the longevity of the edge and, above all, its reliability, proven over the years.

The black s600 is made of böhler s600 steel.

Thanks to its chemical composition containing molybdenum, tungsten and a high proportion of vanadium, it has excellent properties in terms of hardness, wear resistance and toughness.

The presence of cobalt promotes the growth of small, evenly distributed carbides that increase wear resistance. The S600 is heat and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC.

This also makes it highly resistant to wear and gives the cutting edge a long-lasting sharpness. The Böhler S600 has a chromium content of 4.5%, which makes it rust-proof.

For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP Dark coating. Due to its extreme hardness and wear resistance, this steel is not easy to sharpen.
