Probably the milestone among multipurpose knives. This model, which was widely used in Afghanistan as standard equipment by members of the Italian Nibbio Mission, is part of an experimental project to renew individual equipment initiated by the Alpine Forces Command. During preparation for this important order, the Alpine Troops Command asked a team from the company to create complete and refurbished individual test equipment. Extrema Ratio is the company that the Alpine Troops Command chose to develop a multipurpose knife for the infantry. What was needed was a knife that could be used worldwide and that could successfully tackle any problem that specialized equipment couldn't solve. The Fulcrum is an extremely stable and maneuverable knife. The blade can withstand breaking loads of over 150 kg. The tip is very stable, and the tanto profile allows the knife to be used for extended periods without the last section becoming jagged. The advanced center of gravity and the weight of the blade make it suitable for heavy field work. The new hard case allows for comfortable and safe transport.
