The expedition series is the new range of tools for professional explorers.

The expedition series knives offer the same reliability and high quality as any other extreme ratio tactical tool used by military special forces and the sethlans expedition is a fixed blade knife suitable for a variety of situations but can also be used as a backup knife. the sethlan expedition was developed in collaboration with daniele dal canto, master advanced instructor. it has a blade made of böhler n690 steel (58hrc) with mil-c-13924 burnishing and a stonewashed surface finish (dark stone finish).

The knife is made with G10 desert scales, which feature the characteristic ergonomic design of the Extrema Ratio handles. They can be removed, exposing the skeletal structure of the knife, allowing for maximum lightness with minimum thickness. For lovers of extreme customization, the full tang structure allows the handle to be covered with a paracord.

The sheath is made from a single piece of very light and minimalist kydex. It can be disassembled and adjusted for both right and left-handed users. The optional belt clip allows the knife to be placed both vertically and horizontally, making the sheath more versatile than the textile version. It is also equipped with a mini pouch with molle system, which contains a paracord with combustible thread that can be used in an emergency and/or in difficult weather conditions, as well as a fire-breaking steel for starting fires.
