The Expedition Series is the new range of tools for professional explorers.

The Expedition series of knives offers the same reliability and high quality as any other Extrema Ratio tactical tool used by military special forces. The Sethlan Expeditions is a fixed-blade knife suitable for a variety of situations but can also be used as a backup knife. The Sethlan Expeditions was developed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced Instructor. It features a Böhler N690 (58HRC) steel blade with MIL-C-13924 heat treatment and a stonewashed surface finish (Dark Stone).

The knife is crafted with G10 desert scales, which feature the characteristic ergonomic design of the Extrema Ratio handles. They can be removed, exposing the knife's skeletal structure, allowing for maximum lightness with minimum thickness. For lovers of extreme customization, the full-tang construction allows the handle to be covered with paracord.

The sheath is made from a single piece of lightweight, minimalist Kydex. It can be disassembled and adjusted for both right- and left-handed users. The optional belt clip allows the knife to be positioned vertically or horizontally, making the sheath more versatile than the textile version. It also comes with a mini MOLLE pouch, which contains a combustible paracord thread that can be used in emergencies and/or in harsh weather conditions, as well as a firestopping steel for starting fires.
