Gift Arditi Fixed Knife Black, Extrema Ratio
Black Arditi fixed knife, extrema ratio
A special situation created in the early years of the First World War placed soldiers in increasingly complex overcrowding situations. These situations required the formation of units that had to prove their worth in close combat over time. The assault units, the arditi, had their own knife. They made these knives by cutting off the tips of their long-bladed Vetterli bayonets from 1870.
Today, on the occasion of its centenary, Extrema Ratio commemorates this important piece of Italian military history with a celebratory version of only 1,918 examples. This version comes with a black blade and a black Cordura sheath.
