The Glauca G1, an evolution of the Glauca model, has features specifically designed for the renowned GSG9, a special unit of the Federal Police, which has officially adopted it. The handle is made of anticorodal anodized aluminum in a tactical sand color. It is equipped with a tungsten carbide glass breaker on the pommel and a clip adjustable to three different positions (one of them frontal). On the back is a stainless steel marl tip that can be locked when open, as well as a folding rescue tool that allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free injured people from their clothing. This second tool is also ideal as a tape cutter.

The blade lock is the proven liner-lock system, which relies on a second, manually operated safety mechanism. The drop-point blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish.
