This version of Cold Steels® proven survival and rescue knife is equipped with a CPM-3V steel blade and comes with a matching Secure-Ex® sheath.



Cpm 3v steel

This modern tool steel may be a bit more expensive, but it is surprisingly hard and extremely wear-resistant. It is a fine-grained powder steel. With its very uniform microstructure, it offers first-class impact resistance and great edge retention, even with very fine cutting edges. It is a perfect steel for larger blades where extreme durability is required.
