This version of Cold Steels®' proven survival and rescue knife is equipped with a CPM-3V steel blade and comes with a matching Secure-Ex® sheath.

Cpm 3v steel

This modern tool steel may be a little more expensive, but it's surprisingly hard and extremely wear-resistant. It's a fine-grained powder steel. With its very uniform microstructure, it offers first-class impact resistance and excellent edge retention, even with very fine cutting edges. It's a perfect steel for larger shovels where extreme durability is required.
