The Atom project combines traditional design with innovation in the Kershaw Arise. Equipped with a blunt edge and no steel blade, the Arise is a new experiment from Kershaw. The design is inspired by traditional boot knives. The pronounced blade tapers to a fine point and the cross guard on the handle provides exceptional grip during use. In an emergency situation, the tip of the Arise's blade serves as an effective self-defense tool. But in normal use, the fixed blade is a fun conversation starter, aesthetically pleasing and easy to carry with the included lanyard hole.
