The USMC Blackout Combat Fighter combines tradition and innovation and is a modern take on a classic USMC knife. Its 6" 420 stainless steel blade features the clip point profile, a non-reflective black coating, a blood groove, and the USMC seal that martial arts fans know and love. It's a proven blade design that continues to perform well on today's battlefields. Five green bands encircle the handle, an aesthetic nod to the classic Fighter's stacked leather handle. The Blackout Fighter's injection-molded handle has been redesigned to meet the unique demands of the modern era. It's exceptionally durable and features a textured grip that virtually eliminates slipping, even when wet. At the top of the pommel is a steel glass breaker, another contemporary addition perfect for escaping an emergency situation (or helping others).
