This chainmail hood has an authentic square cut at the face and completely covers the shoulders.

This chain link consists of unriveted round rings. The surface of the rings is galvanised and is therefore extensively protected against corrosion (rust).

We call this type of braid bmsz (from the English b utted m ild s steel z plated).
