This chain hood completely covers the shoulder and features the authentic rectangular story cutout. We recommend wearing a waisted hood under the chain hood.

The frw type braid: This flat ring braid is made up of flat chain rings which are closed by means of wedge rivets (triangular rivets). This type of braid is typical of ring armour from the late Middle Ages in Europe. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this braid frw (English = flat ring w rivets).
