Completely battle-ready reconstruction of a spangen helmet, as often worn by crusader knights in the 12th century together with a chainmail hood. The construction used here of a steel dome with additional cross-clasps is extremely robust. The large, curved front plate provides additional protection. The eye openings allow a relatively good field of vision.



Inside the helmet there is a high-quality, adjustable, padded insert. The two cowhide chin straps with brass buckles are also riveted.
