Haubergeon means a half-sleeved chainmail shirt that reaches approximately to the thigh.

RRR chainmail: This chainmail is made up of completely round rings with round rivet heads. Each ring is riveted by hand. The braid is 4-in-1. We call this type of braid RRR (English = round ring r ring).
