A haubergeon (= short shirt) is a medium-sleeved, hip-length chainmail shirt. Ring armour of this type was already worn by the Celts and Romans and was used in Europe until the 14th century, until it was replaced by plate armour in the late Middle Ages.

The chain mesh by the way: this chain mesh without riveting. The rings are made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid btw (english = b utted t ensile w ire).
< br>The rings are untreated so they may rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.
