Haubergeon means a half-sleeved to short chainmail shirt that goes straight down to the thigh.

The FWM braid type is a variant of the European flat ring braid. One row consists of flat rings riveted into a wedge, the second row consists of stamped rings of the same size. This method saved a lot of work in the Middle Ages and also in ancient times, as only every other ring had to be riveted. The braiding is 4-in-1.

Riveting using wedge rivets (triangular rivets) did not appear until the late Middle Ages. Therefore, the frw and fwm braid types are only suitable for Late Medieval depictions.

Available in three sizes (m, l and xl).

The dimensions of each size are measured fully stretched.
