The chainmail of this beautiful chainmail is made up of round, unriveted rings. The surface of the plates is blackened (burnished) and thus offers a slight protection against corrosion. We call this type of braid bmsb ( b mild steel b lackened).
< br>This high-quality, hand-knotted chainmail is a so-called chainmail shirt. This means that it is a long-sleeved, knee-length chainmail shirt. Such a powerful chainmail shirt covered most of the body.

This historically authentic cut was often widened with front or side slits to give the wearer better leg room. This means that these long chainmail coats can be worn comfortably even by horsemen. Our coats are generally unslitted, so the customer can position them individually if necessary. In addition, it has tapered sleeves that narrow around a ring approximately every 5 cm.
