This high-quality, hand-knotted chainmail is a so-called hauberk . This means that it is a long-sleeved, knee-length chainmail shirt. This powerful chainmail armour covers most of the body.

This historically authentic cut was often expanded with front and/or side slits to provide better legroom for the wearer. This means that these long chainmail coats can be worn comfortably even by horsemen. Our coats are generally unslotted, so the customer can position them individually if necessary. In addition, it has tapered sockets that taper around a ring approximately every 5 cm.

The RRZ chain link net is made of round galvanized steel rings. Each ring is riveted with round rivets. The type of braiding is 4 in 1. Unlike untreated chain mail, galvanizing offers fairly good protection against corrosion. The shine of zinc fades over time and the surface takes on a matte grey color.
