This high-quality, hand-knotted chain mail is a so-called chemise. This means a long-sleeved, knee-length chain mail shirt. Such a powerful chain mail shirt covered most of the body. This historically authentic cut was often extended with front or side slits to give the wearer more legroom. This means that these long chain mail shirts can be worn comfortably, even by horsemen.

Our hauberk generally has no slits, so the customer can arrange them individually if needed. It also has tapered sleeves that narrow around a ring approximately every 5 cm.

FRR chain link: This is a European chain link consisting of flat rings throughout. All rings are secured with round rivets with round rivet heads. The braid is 4-in-1. We call this type of braid FRR (English = F flat ring , R round rivet heads).

Available in three sizes (m, l and xl).

The dimensions of each size are measured fully stretched.
