Corvus Corax, the Berlin-based minstrel group, has been operating for over 20 years and has made countless appearances on radio and television, at markets, festivals, and concerts. Known both at home and abroad for their ruthless, violent, and sometimes harsh interpretation of medieval music, the minstrel kings are returning songs to their original function: as dance music and entertainment, in ecstatic rebellion against life's injustices, such as illness, deprivation, and death.
